As one of the largest banks in Ireland, AIB monitors and funds numerous accounts in all the major global currencies on a daily basis, equating to a significant amount of transactions. Initiating improvements in managing these transactions, AIB selected Planixs’ real-time liquidity solution to automate tasks and provide the bank with insight across all accounts and transactions.
As part of the ‘go-live’ implementation, Planixs delivered its Intraday Liquidity Management and Funding & Forecasting modules, with plans to shortly implement Intraday Reconciliation and Regulatory Reports together with the potential to add further modules in the future. These modules, when fully deployed will allow AIB to gain real-time insight into liquidity positions; detailed analytics and forecasts of end of day projections for all accounts; real-time auto matching capabilities and to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
Furthermore, the rollout will see Planixs provide a fully hosted SaaS service for AIB, where hosting, infrastructure and IT operations are taken care of by the software provider.
