Planixs Selected as Finalist for RegTech of the Year and Banking Tech of the Year in European FinTech Awards 2022
Planixs, the leading provider of real-time cash, collateral and liquidity management solutions to global financial services firms, is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for RegTech of the Year and Banking Tech of the Year in the European FinTech Awards 2022.
With hundreds of entries in both categories, Planixs has been selected for the RegTech of the Year award category – which recognises the most innovative regulatory technology in the European market that addresses the regulatory challenges within financial services, along with the Banking Tech of the Year award category – which acknowledges the most pioneering technology within the banking sector that is transforming banking operations.
These accolades recognise Planixs as a leader in the European banking space and its real-time treasury software, Realiti®, as the most innovative technology solution within financial services. The firm was also recently named the winner of the RegTech of the Year in the UK FinTech Awards 2022, following the company’s win for RegTech of the Year in the US awards in 2021.
The award recognises Planixs as a leader in the UK RegTech space and its real-time treasury software, Realiti®, as the most innovative regulatory solution in the UK market. The recognition marks the second year that Planixs leads the way in the RegTech category in the FinTech Awards – winning RegTech of the Year in the US awards in 2021, and now, as the number one RegTech in the UK.
Founded in 2011, Planixs works with some of the world’s most prestigious global financial institutions such as Santander, Allied Irish Bank, Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, SIX Group, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), Lloyds Banking Group and Zenith Bank, in helping them manage their cash and liquidity and address regulatory challenges.
Realiti provides firms with instant, real-time visibility and insight, allowing them to optimise their cash and liquidity and comply with regulatory requirements. With Realiti, organisations can ensure they meet global regulations including the UK PRA, European Banking Authority and FED requirements. The solution also incorporates stress testing capabilities, allowing banking firms to apply a range of stress scenarios in order to understand, monitor and prepare to mitigate any intraday liquidity stresses and to help size liquidity buffers.
Realiti is pivotal in driving operational savings and improving risk management for banks and financial institutions by ensuring they gain real-time liquidity control and ensure regulatory compliance.
The UK FinTech Awards, organised by FinTech Intel to celebrate the achievements of the best and brightest FinTech firms, was held in-person for the first time in two years on 20th April in London, with Planixs selected as the winner by an independent panel of judges. In announcing the award, the judges commented that, “Planixs is positioning itself as the only provider in the treasury management space, where innovation is vital. Its products are built on superior architecture and are presented in a suite of options capable of being personalised for any financial institution.”
Neville Roberts, Planixs’ CEO commented, “We are ecstatic to be named the UK RegTech of the Year and to be recognised for our innovative real-time treasury software. The UK is one of our key markets and we have many UK-based customers who we work with to help them gain real-time insight into their data and improve regulatory compliance over their cash, collateral and liquidity operations. Being named the leading RegTech for two consecutive years, first in the US and then in UK, is such an honour and further helps us cement our position as the number one global RegTech provider.”
