Planixs is the world’s number one provider of real-time cash, collateral and liquidity management software. In recognition of the company’s sustainability initiatives, Planixs is delighted to have been awarded the Silver EcoVadis Medal for 2024. This award follows similar recognition in 2023 and places the firm in the top 15% in its category.

EcoVadis is the first and largest global platform for trading partners to share sustainability performance data. Over 130,000 international supply chains, financial institutions, and public organisations rely on EcoVadis to help them monitor and improve the sustainability performance of their businesses and trading partners.

The EcoVadis rating is based on leading standards, such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and ISO 26000, and is supervised by an international committee.

Planixs’ Silver rating is based on the company’s policies, actions and results, as well as input from third-party professionals and external stakeholders. It covers seven management indicators, across 21 sustainability criteria, in four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

As a result of its strong performance, Planixs scored above average and achieved a Gold rating for Labor & Human Rights and Ethics – scoring over 70 (out of 100) for each area. Neville Roberts, CEO of Planixs says,

“Planixs is honoured to receive the Silver EcoVadis Medal for another consecutive year. We are proud to be among the first in our category, reflecting our dedication to environmental stewardship,  and ethical practice. This achievement inspires us to continue our journey towards a more sustainable future, driving positive change within our industry.”

Over the last two years, the company has implemented several initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint, decrease energy consumption, improve efficiency across its supply chain, and increase employee satisfaction. Jenny Stockton Pugh, HR Manager, adds:

“We are thrilled to have attained the Silver rating from EcoVadis, affirming that our ESG strategy is on the right track. This accolade underscores our commitment to sustainability initiatives. We eagerly anticipate leveraging this achievement as a springboard for further improvement and to position Planixs as a sustainability leader in our industry”

Founded in 2011, Manchester-based Planixs works with some of the world’s most prominent global financial institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), SIX Group, Scotiabank and Zenith Bank. The outcomes for Planixs clients speak volumes – millions in savings on intraday liquidity buffer costs, ensuring compliance with the BCBS248 regulatory agenda, and fostering efficient and effective funding operations
